World Heritage since 2005, Volcano, had a wingspan of rehabilitation for 3 years which helped to complete the work of Oscar Niemeyer improving accessibility to the site's entries. Entries irregularly curved lines that require precise coast and precision manufacturing. To address these issues, the team CS Pedisystems has realized a record laser to define a custom manufacturing gauge. To accommodate an audience mainly pedestrian and disabled people, the choice fell on the carpet Pediluxe® that provides comfort to the height of the place.

Recently inaugurated, Hangar 108 is the administrative headquarters of the 71 municipalities of the Rouen conurbation. It is a work signed by Jacques Ferrier and has already been awarded an American Architecture Prize (AAP) for the bold design of its envelope. The design of this professional use structure also had to offer practical functions and guarantee safety and a comfortable reception for the 900 daily users of this first class ERP. The teams responsible for project management have respected their objectives by selecting sustainable and responsible materials for the entire project. The finishes and particularly the welcome carpets confirm this guideline. The main entrance, which is accessed by the largest number of visitors, is secured by a Pedimat® carpet. When the interior design specialist is looking for a professional carpet that can withstand the constant passage of pedestrians and the many comings and goings of furniture-laden trolleys, she is moving towards a range of carpets that has proven itself and is recognized by the sector. It is no coincidence that the Ikea® store in Manchester chose the Helix® solution in the Pedisystems® carpet range. The E.Leclerc hypermarket in Normanville has recently been revamped. Major works to extend and modernize the structure, allow the store to offer a commercial area that now borders the 4300 m² and an adjoining gallery of specialized shops over 600 m². To ensure a secure reception in compliance with ERP standards in force, the shopping complex has focused on the professional solutions offered by the range of Pedisystems® built-in mats. To meet the resistance criteria demanded by such a busy establishment, the Pediguard® ultra-strong aluminum model has quickly become the most suitable solution on the market. Consisting of raw aluminum profiles and reinforced with galvanized steel rods, the Pediguard® is the carpet of entrances solicited. The carpet should be robust but also offer an ultra-absorbent surface that scrapes and collects dust and dirt on all access to the establishment. In order to equip the carousel with the main entrance, CS has created a custom-made carpet of 7 meters in diameter, perfectly sized for drums.

The Bentall luxury shopping center in Kingston has seen thousands of visitors each year for more than 25 years. To help with the wear and tear of the area and to provide a more welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere, the mall recently renovated its entrance from Clarence Street. Concerned by the risks of falls related to slips in the compound of the complex as well as by the deterioration of the floors (tiling, stone, paving ...) of the building, the project owner in charge of the project chose to install a Pediluxe® carpet. This welcome system secures the arrival of customers from the entrance of the department store and also avoids too rapid erosion of soil due to the presence of external debris and moisture. Custom designed to fit perfectly into the structure, the carpet is embedded in the floor of the entrance hall and has an absorption area of more than 45 m². Its elegant aluminum profiles scrape and dissolve the clusters of soil and textile strips that make up the inserts are soft to walk and provide a finish of the cleaning action by brushing the soles and collecting residual dust. Being a high-street department store with entrances to the outside (rather than the interior of a shopping centre), tracked in dirt and moisture were concerns for the Fenwick store designers, in terms of pedestrian safety, and of protecting the hard-tiled floors throughout the store. Fenwick needed a durable entrance matting solution that could withstand high levels of foot traffic, and that fitted with the store’s brand and image. Renowned for its quality and durable design, CS Pediluxe was chosen. For the four entrances to the store, CS supplied clear anodised Pediluxe entrance mats with Espresso interior carpet inserts. Each mat was manufactured to suit the expected level of traffic, and to fit in the existing space. The entire CS Pediluxe entrance matting solution will ensure the Colchester Fenwick store stays clean and safe for its visitors, whilst also protecting the hard floor surfaces throughout the store.
